DPRU Associates

Gracelin Baskaran Gracelin is a Consultant Economist for the World Bank covering the Southern Africa region, and a Senior Research Fellow at the DPRU. Her research interests include trade, competitiveness, natural resource management, and inclusive growth. |

Adaiah Lilenstein Adaiah is currently working as a consultant for DPRU and Funda Wande. The latter is an NPO focused on improving South African education outcomes. Adaiah has particular skills in quantitative data analysis as well as survey design and program implementation. Her research interest is in Development Economics - especially education, poverty, inequality, and the labour market. |

Rethabile Molala Rethabile is a Junior Research Fellow at the DPRU, and part of the team for the INSETA partnership. She is an Economics Honours graduate from Rhodes University and a Masters graduate in Public Policy and Management from Corvinus University of Budapest. She has completed at short internship at Econex. |

Karmen Naidoo Karmen is currently a doctoral candidate in economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research interests are in development economics and labour economics. She is also a research assistant at the Political Economy Research Institute. |

Tarquin Vollenhoven Tarquin is a Junior Research Fellow at the DPRU, and part of the team for the INSETA partnership. She holds a Masters in Industrial/Organisational Psychology (IOP) from UCT. She was an IOP intern at Deloitte Consulting where she gained a range of knowledge relating to Change Management, Diversity and Inclusion, the Future of Work, Employee Well-being and Training and Development. Her research interests relate to Individual and Societal Well-being, Optimising Individual/Organisational Performance, Work-based Experiences, Minimum/Living Wage, Behavioural Science, Psychological Perspectives, and Training Development and Growth. |
